This is one of my proudest achievements in sewing, by far. When I was still in high school, I found a fabulous go-go dress at my favorite thrift store. Part of what tipped me off that it was authentic was the fact that the material was crumbling under my fingers. I have no idea what it was actually made from, but it did not hold up well. I took the dress home, cut it up into pieces and recut those pieces from new cotton fabric. It’s not the same electric yellow as before, but it still has a nice high contrast with the black buckles. I love this dress and it pains me that I’ve only worn it out a few times.
I LOVE it!!! So darned adorable! The whole outfit is perfection, very mod! Awesome work, girl!!
