What have I become?

I stand a very real chance of having to sneak patterns into my apartment right now. I’m pretty sure my husband thinks I have a problem, but at this point, I’m not sure I can disagree with him.  But some of these patterns are from the Forties!  What was I supposed to do? Leave them?  No! My greedy little heart is beating fast with the thrill of it all.  Mine mine mine mine.  I know it’s more than a little silly, but I don’t care.  To the victor go the spoils and I’m going to enjoy myself until I get home and have to come up with some kind of justification for my actions.

My grandmother was a confirmed hoarder, she had the second largest collection of salt and pepper shakers in the state of Florida, and now I seem to be following in her footsteps.  I do intend on making as many patterns available through Etsy as possible.  Ahhh I just love vintage patterns so much!  Let’s just hope my husband loves me enough to accommodate my eccentricities.

  1. But patterns are useful!!! You can make lots and lots of pretty clothes with them. 🙂 (I’m the worst enabler when it comes to the collecting of pretty things!)

So envious of all the 1940’s patterns you found! I’m dying to see your most recent pattern finds. 🙂 And you MUST let me know when you set up your Etsy shop if you haven’t set it up already!!!

      1. They’re going to be so much fun to see!!! Makes me wish I lived closer so I could come over and drool over your pattern collection, but maybe you’re better off that I don’t! 😉 LOL.

      2. Fear not! I’m going to give it my best to make this stuff accessible! If I was a little more computer literate, I would probably be further along. Oh well.
